Learn how you can be a park ranger in these natural areas
Concurso del Sernanp will allow 6 people to get up close, for a day, the nature and culture that the protected natural areas of the country host.
Our National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp) launched the second edition of the “Guardaparque por un día” contest, where 6 people will know the natural areas protected by nature and culture.
The winners will have to support Sernanp’s official park rangers in their work, such as patrols, biological monitoring, environmental education, tourist orientation, among others.
The contest offers the opportunity to live a great experience in three emblematic protected natural areas: the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu (Cusco), the Huascarán National Park (Áncash) and the Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas Islands (Ica).
To participate, both people must fill out the registration form and respond with the most creative and original possible (video, collage of photos, postcards, audios, etc.) to the question: “Why are areas important for my life? natural protected?
