Local demand has been growing steadily but the preparation of the right talent does not do it at the same pace, according to Seek’s perspective

Alejandro Nadal De Litizia, operations and finance manager of Seek, a young Peruvian company dedicated to providing digital marketing services, warns that in our country there is a growth in demand that is not accompanied by the supply of labor prepared for it.

Today, companies are building and designing products or services that provide a unique experience for their users (both employees and customers), he said. Those experiences that seek to strengthen the relationship with the brand, provide a better service, find new customers or interact in the daily plan of people, use digital tools to achieve it.

“Beyond technologies, digital marketing begins to transform to include in its portfolio methodologies such as Lean UX, AgileDesign Thinking,” he said.

With this type of tools a greater depth in the behavior of users is achieved to build better experiences in the channels that are communicated. Data collection, accompanied by analysis, improve the contents, services and products for the user, he added.

“I think we currently have a talent that can compete globally on all fronts, however, our ability to build and train talent does not grow at the same pace as market needs and versus our regional comparables,” he lamented.

Currently the trend in companies, he said, is to place its main stakeholders at the center of the organization. For many companies these stakeholders tend to be their clients, when this may not necessarily be the case, but they can be the same collaborators.

In his opinion it is important that executives know how to clearly understand the users and the needs of the business in the current environment. “It is based on the correct research where one can define exactly what the business and the user require,” he added.

As a country, our main challenge is to train professionals with the necessary skills to lead this sector, he stressed. This implies having the ability to lead teams to the design of strategies that transform the experiences of companies and their users with the help of the right tools.
